A website has been launched at http://www.ei50.org to promote the Institute's special celebration activities. 09-07-04: The paper 'Learning the Shape of the Likelihood of Typical Econometric Models using Gibbs Sampling', jointly written with Michiel de Pooter and Herman van Dijk, has been presented by Michiel on the 10th International Conference on Computing in Economics and Finance, July 8-10, 2004, University of Amsterdam. 23-06-04: Erasmus University Rotterdam hosts the INFORMS Marketing Science Conference from June 23-27, 2004. 17-05-04: Official start of my PhD-project entitled 'Analyzing Panels of Time Series' at the Tinbergen Institute and Econometric Institute under supervision of Philip Hans Franses. 13-05-04: Today I submitted my Master's thesis entitled 'Modelling Long-run Economic Growth in Industrialized Nations: Exploiting Cross-Country Similarities'.
