   Full professor at Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
   Tasks: research and teaching in decision under uncertainty, supervision of Ph.D. students.

Education

• Ph.D. degree: June 1986, CentER, Tilburg University, The Netherlands, in economics (with honors); supervisors: Pieter Ruys, Stef Tijs, & David Schmeidler.
• Teacher's qualification obtained in April 1983 (i.e., I am qualified to teach at high schools).
• Masters degree: Mathematics at Nijmegen University, The Netherlands; Sept. 1972-March 1979 (with honors). Specializations: probability theory, statistics, and optimization theory. Student-assistant (tutor) from September 1977 to January 1978.
