I am a professor of Microeconomics and Head of the Department of Microeconomics and Public Economics at the School of Business and Economics at Maastricht University.
My main research interests are behavioral economics; time, social, and risk preferences in particular. My research uses a combination of decision theoretical and empirical approaches. In terms of applications, I have a particular interest in studying how time, social, and risk preferences relate to health behavior. I serve as an Associate Editor for Management Science.
