Conference Identity politics, national culture, and moral resurgence

Practical information

All sessions will take place at the philosophy department, which is near, but not on, the main Erasmus University campus in the east of Rotterdam. The department has its own building (`Visser 't Hooft gebouw'), enjoying a beautiful view over the Maas river. It has very good catering facilities.

The address: Oostmaaslaan 950-952, 3063 DM Rotterdam.
The Oostmaaslaan is a secondary road below, and parallel to, the Maasboulevard, the main eastern thoroughfare along the river Maas.

Public transport: from Rotterdam Central Station, take either streetcar 3 or 13 (westbound, toward `De Esch'). Exit at stop `Honingerdijk' (ride will take 12-15 minutes).
When driving: Take exit 26 (`Centrum') from highway A16. Keep Woudestein, the main Eramus University campus, to your right. Where the street car goes right, and the main road left, go straight through to enter the Oostmaaslaan. Limited parking space is available.
When unsure: look for the sign `Adriaan Volker huis' on a tall black-and- white building opposite the philosophy department.
